To support Wentworth’s bid to host the 2026 Rural Women’s Gathering, we were tasked with creating a concept visual identity that would resonate with funding bodies and the local community alike. The goal was to visualize the event’s potential impact before it even existed—demonstrating professional organization and deep community roots.
We anchored the visual identity in the Golden Wattle—a symbol of resilience, celebration, and the Australian rural landscape.
- Visual Language: We utilized a soft, natural color palette of wattle yellows, eucalyptus greens, and clean white space to create a modern yet welcoming aesthetic.
- Community Connection: Unlike generic event branding, we integrated photography of well-known local figures (such as Jenny McLeod and Marg Whyte) onto the proposed street banners. This personalized the pitch, showing that the event is about people, not just logistics.
A comprehensive suite of conceptual assets used to strengthen the funding submission. The design package illustrated exactly how the “Gathering” would look and feel, from street-lining welcome banners to the merchandise (tote bags, apparel, coasters) that attendees would take home.
